After ICL surgery, we need you to use more than two types of eyedrops to prevent infection and suppress inflammation.
We are often asked, “How long should the interval be between using eye drops?” So, we will explain this point here.
If you are using more than two types of eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before using the next one.
If you use eye drops without leaving any interval time between each eye drop, the first one will be washed away by the second one, so it is necessary to leave as much time between each eye drop as possible to avoid mutual influence. It is believed that leaving an interval of 5 minutes or more between drops will almost completely eliminate mutual influence.
About the order in which you use eye drops, if the doctor has given you instructions, follow the instructions. If you have not been instructed to do so, if some suspension eye drops are less soluble in water and less absorbed, it is preferable to apply it in the last order.
